drowning at 7 feet sea level
This morning’s sky was breathtaking. Do you see that light teal on the lower right of the picture above? (It’s hard to see in an image this small.) The entire sky was that color, only more so. I ran back into the house for my phone but it just wouldn’t capture all the color. I don’t know why, but I won’t easily forget that gorgeous color, splashed across the heavens.
I bet people waiting for the bus just beyond the fence wondered who yelled “Wow!” for five straight minutes. 😉

A few years ago Mike and I took his sister to Vizcaya. There are some photos from that trip here.
This time it’s my sister visiting, so we went back! My camera has been dropped too many times, so the pictures are somewhat lacking, sorry.

See what I mean about my camera? Half the time it wouldn’t focus. Pictures were either blown out or way too dark. Weird.
I really, really need a haircut.

My husband found this transformative picnic table/bench on *Amazon and had to have it.
It feels more like a children’s picnic table to me, but he was so in love with it… here it is.
The thing is cute but I was hoping for something more… comfortable. 😉

I bought this little thing to hopefully bring more birds and to give bees a landing spot so they could drink without drowning. That’s really a thing.
What I didn’t count on while cycling through the different nozzles? The sound is delightful! And very soothing. All for $17. The little things really are the best.
Oh, the patio has been pressure cleaned and looks amazing. Hibiscus has arrived and is waiting to be planted.

Not what I’m supposed to be buying (pollinators), but the bamboo will go on the patio for ambiance. Right now the back patio is an urban desert containing a grill and a table and chair set that was old when we bought the place 20 years ago.
