A Promise

…then it started pouring again.

Christmas Eve saw us in a hotel room after eating warmed up Campbell’s soup from a Circle K. Surreal, but we were able to see family for Christmas so it was worth it.

We drove back down I95 and grabbed the dogs from the ‘spa’. It’s nice to be home.

The Velveteen Rabbit

I’m constantly buying new little babies for Daisy, as she likes to tear their guts out as a pre-dining activity. Especially bunnies. Not this one, though. He’s been around for some time. There’s no telling why he’s special, but he must be. To her, anyway.

Windy

I stood watching the dogs when the wind kicked up. The trees above me rattled like a hundred diamondbacks.

My neighbors clearly have a green thumb. Unlike myself.

If my hair looked this good…

…it would be grown out past my butt by now.

The patio table has become the grooming table, which is fine since we don’t use it for much of anything.

I think Joanie asked for a face shot… complete with hair in her mouth! Well, why do I have to be the only one!?

Shy Squirrel

We never see squirrels, probably because every tree growing on this lot is a palm of some sort, but now that the neighbor’s greenery is growing over the fence… ta da! Squirrel!

Dachshund vs Pipe

Daisy, the 10lb wonder, decided that she needed this pvc pipe I laid behind the firebush bed (don’t ask me why; it’s not mine).

First she had to dig a nice hole to be able to get under it..

Success!

I just thought it was cute. But then, I would.

Someone Needs a Blowout

…or just a cut.

She’s twelve, is Queen Daisy. And not happy with the picture taking. Or the cutting of the hairs. After her haircut I’ll have to lug her majesty to the vet for a mani/pedi.
