We never see squirrels, probably because every tree growing on this lot is a palm of some sort, but now that the neighbor’s greenery is growing over the fence… ta da! Squirrel!

SQUIRREL!
I love watching the squirrels play around here. There are fewer out and about at the moment, but they were quite busy all spring when the little ones were learning the ways of the world. Stealing avocados from the trees, running here & there, the occasional drowning.
Come to think of it, I really haven’t seen any in a couple months. Could they be having a holiday in Florida???

This little guy told me he was just in from Maine, with his snowbird owners. 😉

Smart guy. He knows California’s just another word for Giant Fire Burning The State At Both Ends.
I hope he sticks around for your sake.
