Transformers

My husband found this transformative picnic table/bench on *Amazon and had to have it.

It feels more like a children’s picnic table to me, but he was so in love with it… here it is.

The thing is cute but I was hoping for something more… comfortable. 😉

  1. Hi Pam, I have to say that looks like a cool item! I never saw one before like that and the one that I’m most familiar with is the one that I built that is a large standard picnic table with the hole in the center for the large umbrella too!
That said I would probably scoop one of those up just for the nifty portability of it; and I guess we guys get taken in by that sort of thing more often than not, you know boys and their toys! But that does look really awesome out there on that great patio your husband built; so all in all that’s some nice layout you have there!
Lots of good-times to come I would say!

    God bless Y’all. 🙏

      1. Hey yes so true Pam! I was thinking later how in your locale some serious windy weather events can pop up suddenly and that unit is great to just fold up like your beach lounges and tuck it away for safe keeping. My very large plank quite heavy unit would be a chore to pick up and carry off every time the wind got out of hand! I think as my Dad would say that’s very practical too! 😉
I know what ya think; yes I was a good salesman going back some years too!

          1. Thank you Pam! Well, I used to be a leader in my office back then but that meant nothing when I think about being the best servant and advocate for God that I can be!

That is funny what you said, because so many will need that water but no one will be selling it down there; even I couldn’t and I sure pray I won’t be trying or I’ll be in the wrong place!!!🤣

Something you can be so happy and proud of from where I sit is you’re a fantastic wife, so that is an important job well done!

            God bless Y’all.

      1. Hey Pam, while your dear one is enjoying the transformer why not be watching on as you rest yourself sweetly, from a cushioned hammock set right next to him! Awesome idea right? Best of both worlds combined and I always liked combos! As a kid you should have seen my banana splits I devoured, what combos they were, everything but the kitchen sink kinda; family would say bet you can’t eat two and I would say; oh yes I can, and proved it often! 🤣

        1. Thanks Lawrence! I know it’s not correct 21st century thinking, but I try very hard to be a good wife! Thank the good Lord my husband tries his best as well. 🙂

          1. Hi again Pam and I could have been putting my neck in a sort of noose or at least going out on a limb by what I said but I really thought I could read what I’ve learned over time well enough to take the bit of risk; and you made that clear anyway by mentioning the Lord, which I knew was the central core theme there in that household and marriage therein!

I actually like old school as my Dad always called it, so for me 20th or 19th and on back would suit me fine for the right thinking to live by! I mean let’s face it are we all better off now with all of this jumbled up disarray in society and all of the tug of wars going on simultaneously; heck no, things were much happier when simplified and traditional; yup that word is a big no-no now with so many PC and confused persons running rampant throughout; God look at the schools and what they want to push on babies for God’s sake!

Well, I’ll take all that past over this mayhem anytime if I could make it go back! This world was flawed from the get-goes so that older school of a standard of balance, yes much of it derived from the Good Book, worked fairly well as compared to this zoo we have now, look at communist regime nations where God is out the door and atheism rules, the state rules and says how to live; all of which makes me hope and pray that the Lord is returning much sooner rather than later!!!

Your best as you both are, in my book; and your husband is fantastic too, I figured that for sure! Amen.

            Enjoy all those accoutrements! To be honest I would go for a hammock myself! 😉 👍 🇺🇸 🙏 🙏 ✝️ 🙏 🙂

            1. Thanks Lawrence; I appreciate that!! And I agree with you about the mayhem but I think we must believe that this is part of God’s plan. A hammock sounds great but thinking about how I’d get in and out of it makes me laugh like a startled donkey! LOL!! Blessings to you, Lawrence!

            2. You’re welcome, and absolutely it’s all been a plan from the millisecond that God conceived it all; it’s His perfect plan not anyone else’s and certainly not we little pipsqueak people though some think they are so BIG! Lots of delusional types in this world now, put themselves way up on a cloud, especially those ones with so many ill-gotten gains or billions of corrupting dollars; man do they have a rude awakening coming when they get the boot! So far from humble is a wicked bad place to be! Like my Mom always told us growing up I wouldn’t trade places with them for all the riches of the world!

“And again I say to you that it is easier for a camel to enter the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God.” Matthew 19:24

I do have a hammock I tie off between two trees, so I know that one must just plant thy bottom on it as you push it behind you and then sort of drop in and rock a bye baby into it; like a bit of gliding! The ones in a stand are closer to the ground so it’s more I think plopping in and not as dangerous like mine in the trees. Getting out is a more adventurous move if you don’t want to land on the ground with a thud or drop out on your hands and knees! Hey not so bad once you get the swing of it, lol. Or is that the hang of it! I like it anyway! ️ More blessings to you! 🙏 🙂
