In the last post the purple heart has some odd thingys in the middle under the bloom. What the heck? They look like spider legs but I’m sure it’s just…. new leaves? Yep, let’s go with new leaves.

I feel like it could just possibly be random flora detritus? Yep. That’s my non-horticulturist best guess. Still a very pretty plant.

I saw what happens to them last night. They become blooms. If it weren’t so bloody dark I’d have captured it, because how lovely!
