The Good and the Bad

This is going to be bad news for someone… or many someones…

And the good? I’m going to meet my father in November!! We’re both pretty excited, as is Mike. He’ll be there too. It will take place in Galveston, since he’ll be there already and who doesn’t like a road trip?

No, no more panic attacks. 😉

  1. I’m concerned for you and several others with this crazy ass storm! Please be ultra prepared. I’m praying!

Glad to hear you’re going to meet your father. Just remember – no matter what – he’s just a man. He’s as perfect as the rest of us mortals. And do what you can to enjoy yourself!

  2. As far as I know we’re not in the path of any storms… believe me, I check the National Hurricane Center every day during the season! Others are no so lucky… we’re praying for those who will be affected… including our grandson who is in Charleston. But the Navy knows how to prepare, so I’m sure he’ll be fine.

No, I know he’s human. Don’t worry. I’ve told him that I’ll never judge him for anything that happened… We’ve spoken on the phone several times and it’s time we met. 🙂

I will enjoy myself… because he’s not the only person I’ll be seeing when I go to Texas… 😉

    1. I was relieved to see the tracking of the storm heading north of you. Now to just keep praying it stays away from everyone else.

I know you’re a practical woman and have full confidence in you. My fingers are crossed, as are my eyes, that you have a wonderful time meeting with him.
