Commenting seems to be broken, but in actuality that is not the case.
After leaving a comment a page pops up asking “Are you sure you want to do this?”.
No further action need be taken on your part; the comment has been left.
I’m searching for a solution, but so far no joy. Comment at will, I assure you they stick.
UPDATE: As of 4.29.12 @ 12:30, comments are working as they should. Yay!

The WordPress community is under attack.
There are easily accessible instructional videos on the net that can walk you through hacking a WordPress install in less than 2 minutes. Then there are the pros…
30,000 WordPress Blogs Infected to Distribute Rogue Antivirus Software
Almost 30,000 WordPress blogs have been infected in a new wave of attacks orchestrated by a cybercriminal gang whose primary goal is to distribute rogue antivirus software, researchers from security firm Websense said in a blog post on Monday.
The attacks have resulted in over 200,000 infected pages that redirect users to websites displaying fake antivirus scans. The latest compromises are part of a rogue antivirus distribution campaign that has been going on for months, the Websense researchers said.
Many of the blogs compromised in these recent attacks were running outdated WordPress versions, had vulnerable plug-ins installed or had weak administrative passwords susceptible to brute force attacks, said David Dede, a security researcher with website integrity monitoring firm Sucuri Security. “It seems the attackers are trying everything lately.”

Yesterday was pamibe’s 10th Blogiversary, but it was pushed to the back of my mind in the excitement of Mike’s impending return from Dallas… and completely forgotten once I’d picked him up at the airport. There he was, beside me once again, looking tired and talking about airplane thrust, making me absurdly happy in the process.
Anyway, I’ve been blogging for 10 years. Big fat hairy deal. Anyone can do it and millions do, so there’s obviously no trick to the thing. And the long ago thought of having a big blogish partay for my 10th has been mitigated by raging allergies and a lingering case of ennui.
Nothing has really changed, unless you count my newly found cynicism regarding all things political. Still a fiscal conservative, everything else independent… like I said, nothing has really changed. If the blog lasts another ten years… oh, geez… I can’t even finish that sentence.
My favorite thing about blogging remains people; although a hermit myself, the friends I’ve made through blogging are all wonderful, bright, compassionate folks who make me want to be a better person.
On the flip side of that, my least favorite thing would be the people I’ve lost track of through the years.
Every few years I post some of my old headers, so…

…and I’m thinking of making this my next banner!

Nope, some things never do change…
