As I said, Pam had her hunks so I think you deserve at least a duo of tastefully done classic pin-ups with a nod to your military service:

Harry Reid wonders how anyone of Hispanic descent could be a Republican…

I guess especially since a lot of them probably speak English like, well, lazy brown people.

With the spin machine.

First lady went to Spain to spend time with grieving friend

First Lady Michelle Obama took a lot of grief for her decision to vacation in Spain last week, a glitzy getaway that prompted one New York Daily News columnist to liken her to Marie Antoinette. But now we’re learning more about the trip, which, despite the furor over its alleged excess, seems to have been launched with good intentions.

Yeah? The road to hell is paved with good intentions, bitch.

What a bunch of after-the-fact, spin-machine bullshit.

a gainfully employed teacher seems to think that having sex at the taxpayers’ expense is more important than imparting knowledge to the next generation:

At least one lawmaker questioned why the union is fighting for Viagra while teachers are losing their jobs. A consultant for the school board has estimated that reinstating the drug benefit would cost $786,000 per year — the cost to keep perhaps a dozen first-year teachers employed.

Look, I’ll be the first to state that an, er, “opportunity” is a terrible thing to waste, but I don’t expect the taxpayers to fund mine. What the hell is wrong with this country???

full of fresh-faced hope and promise for a new Russia.

And then she accidentally blew her nose off…

I never pass up an opportunity to try and educate people on gun safety, including in internet comment threads, and I am constantly amazed at how many people are woefully ignorant when it comes to this topic, and tragedy ensues. My attitude may seem abrasive or harsh, but there are no second chances. Period. I have always been a stickler for details when it comes to firearms. I first “met” Pamibe by arrogantly chiding her for referring to a magazine as a clip. I guess I just can’t help myself…

jet setting around the world on our dime. I wish I still had high credit credit card balances and the credit lines to go with them, like I used to. And retirement accounts? I have one I can’t access with a measly amount in it. Today I’m eating peanut butter on toast and I don’t qualify for public assistance.

Fuck you, Michelle Obama.

Incredibly, the Obamas have long portrayed themselves as precisely such commoners. Just this month, Obama told ABC the First Couple is “not that far removed from what most Americans are going through.” And that “it was just a few years ago that we had high credit card balances, we had two kids, thinking about college. We had our own retirement accounts, wondering if we were going to be able to get enough assets in there.”

Reminds me of an old song (lyrics below)…

If you do grow
Then you must know
When you get so jive
You only half alive
Show me right now
That you know how
You can stand up
Look in a mirror and sigh

Get your feet wet
Run with the jet set
Be a good girl
Go around the world
But the longer it goes on
The harder you hang on
‘Til you stand up
Look in a mirror and sigh

Tryin’ to be cool
You just be the fool

Let it be known
You ain’t full growed
And it’s all right
Don’t put up such a fight
You can stand up
Look in a mirror and sigh

H/T Pamibe…
