I guest-posted over at DaGoddess today. It’s Two-fer Tuesday!
Also, look for something from me at Bluestography. (When I feel a bit better)
Nope, I don’t know much about the blues, but maybe I can learn. Joanie sure is taking a chance… [cue evil laugh]
Now… if I could just bunch up the wherewithal to post something here…
And, because it was on my desktop for no reason, here’s Bree:
So far it’s been a welcome change from (shudder) Oklahoma, and as everyone knows already we finally got to meet Pam! Thank you, Pam and Mike, for your generosity and hospitality. We are looking for jobs and a place to live while staying with relatives. I am eternally grateful that they have put themselves out for us, and know how much of an impact our being here is. Try as one might, it is hard to keep it all smooth sailing. I know Pam likes Bob Seger, and I am reminded tonight of one of his songs…
P.S. – Sorry we missed you, Mrs. Who and B.R. We had to swing through Tennessee first so we weren’t near your neck of the woods…
We had the pleasure of Erinyes and Folly’s company last night as they make their way down the Florida peninsula.
They brought with them two boys [the best sort of boys; well mannered, kind and inquisitive], five dogs and three cats. Oh, and a gerbil. The dogs were sweet tempered loves, the cats purred against their crate, making little noise. All things considered, the night went very well.
Bree was intrigued yet somewhat fractious and Daisy, in her high-handed Dachshund way, was very put out, but you can’t make everyone happy. The influx of different people and animals is good for them both. Heck, it’s good for the man and I, stuck in front of our keyboards day and night.
This morning there was a show n’ tell and mutual exchange of gun lore… That’s when I picked up the camera, of course.
Erinyes will probably kill me for posting a photo of him in his jim jams… but… I thought it was cute. Americans appreciating the 2nd Amendment!
I remember Tamitha Freemen. Harvey says: “She’s got beautiful puppies”.
"Lord, keep our servicemen and women safe, whether they serve at home or overseas. Hold them and their families in your loving hands and protect them as they protect us."
