Bree loves wearing clothes. Or adornments of any kind, really. We could hang ornaments on her instead of the Christmas tree this year and she would relish the parade up and down our street, taking in the ‘oohs’ and ‘ahhs’ as her just due.

This morning we picked out the traditional red bandanna from her stash of five scarves for home and hood wear. I thought it would cheer her up; if the allergies doing bad things to her eyes is any indication of how she feels, some benadryl is long overdue.

When I settled it over her head and said ‘let’s see how it looks!’ we took off for the full length mirror in the guest room.
‘See?’ I said. She did see and threw a left paw at herself in the glass with glee. Off she took, grinning and happy as a clam.
Oh, were it that easy to make everyone as happy!

Everybody wants a piece of the action

She looks bored because the pupperoni wasn’t forthcoming. Fast enough for her, anyway.

No matter how old you become, I’ll always remember you as the puppy who couldn’t control her tongue… talked back to me, learned quickly and loved everyone. Happy Birthday, dear girl!
