Is It Just Me…

being an overly sensitive Jew, or is it really NOT necessary to incorporate an SS rune into your logo?
It just rubs me the wrong way. Like the logo used by these morons. It’s a little TOO close to this emblem.
I’m not a fan of censorship. But I would not buy their products. EVER.
This Is News?

I suppose it’s good that the MSM is willing to post a story like this, but I have to wonder why we haven’t been hearing more personal stories like this in the news.
As for this couple? They have unemployment and student loans to live on. Try living on nothing if you want to know what stress is.
And where’s the Union she worked for in all of this? Oh yeah, demanding her dues while there are no jobs, and demanding that Union workers not take non-Union jobs.

Go on and click here…you know you want to!
Totally safe for work unless you work for some libtarded company that will label you a homegrown terrorist for your choice of at-work web surfing.

The South Shall Rise Again…
February 26, 2011
In more positive news, this weekend is Key West’s Civil War Days. The very cool part is that an original Civil War infantry company, Company K, is one of the re-enactment groups:
“Truly this is a cosmopolitan company, it is composed of Yankees, Crackers, Conchs, Englishmen, Spaniards, Germans, Frenchmen, Italians, Poles, Irishmen, Swedes, Chinese, Portuguese, Brazilian, but all are good southern men. There are also Scotchmen, Welshmen and some half Indians, surely this is the greatest mixture of nations for a small company that I ever heard of.”
Sergeant Robert Watson
Company K of the Seventh Florida Infantry Regiment
23 February 1862Located in central Florida, Company K is a reactivated Confederate Infantry Company that was originally formed in and around the Hillsborough County area and became a part of the Army of Tennessee.
As was true of the original company, we are a most exceedingly diverse group. A number of our members have Confederate ancestors and some have Union ancestors…a few have BOTH, and others have none. We come from all parts of the country…North and South. We count amongst us teachers, engineers, firefighters, law enforcement officers, practitioners of the medical arts, counselors and members of the Armed Forces of the United States, both active duty and retired.
It gets better: the Sergeant Robert Watson quoted on their website and above is Folly’s great-great-grandfather. I’m of a mind to join up once we get our finances in order and I can afford the equipment.
Hey, the original Company K had Yankees in it, so why not?
In This Time Of Economic Turmoil…

do we really need to hear from the likes of this all-star schmuck?
On Thursday afternoon, CBS and Warner Bros. Television announced they were stopping production on Two and a Half Men for the remainder of the season due to Sheen’s recent “statements, conduct and condition.” On O’Brien’s show, Sheen said he would fight to get paid for the remaining unproduced episodes. The actor currently makes $1.8 million per episode for his work on the show.
Two and a Half Men ends production for the season following Charlie Sheen’s radio rant
“Defeat is not an option,” he said. “They know what they did was wrong they are in absolute breach [of contract]. I did nothing wrong. I expressed an opinion; I get the first amendment behind me. Defeat is not an option.”
Somebody needs to bitch slap this douchebag after pointing out that his First Amendment rights don’t protect him from being tossed out on his ass from his “job”.
