According to one estimate, since last year the Department of Homeland Security has stockpiled more than 1.6 billion bullets, mainly .40 caliber and 9mm.DHS also purchased 2,700 Mine Resistant Armor Protected Vehicles (MRAP).

The Department of Homeland Security (through the U.S. Army Forces Command) recently retrofitted 2,717 of these ‘Mine Resistant Protected’ vehicles for service on the streets of the United States.
Although I’ve seen and read several online blurbs about this vehicle of late, I decided to dig slightly deeper and discover more about the vehicle itself.
The new DHS sanctioned ‘Street Sweeper’ (my own slang due to the gun ports) is built by Navistar Defense (NavistarDefense.com), a division within the Navistar organization. Under the Navistar umbrella are several other companies including International Trucks, IC Bus (they make school buses), Monaco RV (recreational vehicles), WorkHorse (they make chassis), MaxxForce (diesel engines), and Navistar Financial (the money arm of the company).
Don’t think I want to know what they’re getting ready to do…
No wonder you can’t find a 9mm bullet anywhere in the country.
And the vehicle? Are you aware of any violent upheavals anywhere in the country that would require trucks that are mine resistant and would be classified as “sweepers”? Other than maybe Chicago? Because I’m not – and I’m pretty well informed.
Scary as hell as still the masses sleep.

I wish we could elect people to Congress who would open an investigation to reveal exactly to the people what the rest of our government is up to with all this stuff. But then again Congress is part of the problem too, so I won’t hold my breath.
Maybe the individual states need to start exercising their rights and demand to know what the hell is going on from the feds.

The odds are good that they’re just mindlessly spending money. There is the simple fact that if the drug cartel types down in Mexico want to come over the border they have the Border Patrol outnumbered and outgunned. As to coming after citizens, they can’t do it, Hell, they can’t even control the black and hispanic (and asian) gangs in the big cities.
It really doesn’t matter how many armored vehicles these assholes buy. You cannot control a neighborhood from inside an armored vehicle, you have to get out on your two hind legs and go out in the streets, houses and businesses.

There are not enough Feds to take over the cities. Look at who joins the Army and Marine Corps and then ask yourself if they will attack their own families and neighbors. Now look at the followers of “the Reverends” Sharpton and Jackson and think if they can go outside the hoods and really put us in danger.

There is a reason why so many of the folks killed in Chicago are those hit by stray bullets from the gangbangers, they can’t shoot for sour owlshit. If they try to come out to the country and suburbs with that crap they’ll find themselves standing with their stupid pistols held sideways while grandpas and uncles and wives cut them down with their deer rifles, not to mention those bazillion AR14 clones being sold since the start of the Clinton Admin, it started back then and has never really stopped although it’s at a new high now. and the Obamanites who think that Americans are buying all those shootin’ irons just to turn them in at a politicians whining command is living in a dream world.

as my adviser explained this morning – i have no real problem with them using the drones the same way a police cruiser would be legally used – and i have no problem with them using a drone to take out an active shooter in say a shoot out with the cops
but anything beyond that i have a huge problem with and i don’t trust this or any president with the idea of that sort of problem
holder seems to forget he is only the chief attorney – he ain’t a judge and he doesn’t get to say what is legal and what isn’t
as for the ammo – the gobment is buying it all up – that last big order was enough i am told to supply the military for the hottest part of the iraq war for 12 years or more – but this was all ordered by domestic depts. not the military….

How. Many are taken out? I’ve seen footage of some spectacular drone hits in Afghanistan and some were pinpoint accurate.

It’s not like it’s a laser, it’s a bomb being dropped. Yes it wouldn’t take out hundreds but anybody around the person is a goner.
Ah, I see. Probably everyone dead in a 6 to 10 feet circumference? That’s great if we’re taking out enemy combatants in Afghanistan, but it’s totally unacceptable here on U.S. soil.
