“People are just not as patient as they used to be”
~Sen. Audrey Gibson
I don’t believe Governor Scott would sign something like this, but just so we know where the Democrat mindset is, here ya go:
[typography font="Ubuntu Condensed" size="20" size_format="px"]Florida bill would require anger management courses for bullet buyers[/typography]A Florida legislator wants anyone trying to buy ammunition to complete an anger management program first, in what critics say is the latest example of local lawmakers reaching for constitutionally-dubious solutions to the problem of gun violence.
The bill filed Saturday by state Sen. Audrey Gibson, D-Jacksonville, would require a three-day waiting period for the sale of any firearm and the sale of ammunition to anyone who has not completed anger management courses. The proposal would require ammo buyers to take the anger management courses every 10 years.
“This is not about guns,” Gibson said. “This is about ammunition and not only for the safety of the general community, but also for the safety of law enforcement.”
Gibson said she’s concerned with citizens stockpiling ammunition, potentially creating dangerous situations should those individuals ever come in contact with law enforcement agencies or criminals.
“It’s about getting people to think, really, about how much ammunition they need,” Gibson said. “It’s a step, I think, in a safer direction. It’s about getting people to think before they buy.”
I NEED AS MUCH AS I SAY I NEED. PERIOD. I thought before I bought, then I bought, you demented cow.
Good God, I need a drink. The one bright spot in this day has been Rand Paul’s filibuster; as I type this he’s in hour SIX.
“I will speak today until the president responds and says, ‘No, we won’t kill Americans in cafes. No, we won’t kill you at home at night,’”
~Sen Rand Paul
Now THAT is anger management!

I think someone needs to complete an anger management course before they can run for office. The most angry folks I know of seem to be Democrat legisgators. Democrat “entertainers” are next, followed by professors.
As a matter of fact, anger management before one is allowed to bother people.
What a good idea! Or have them take a Constitutional study course, since so many don’t seem to know what it says…
stupid.
GO RAND!!!!
I think anyone running for office (city, state, federal) should have to take the same test as anyone wanting to become a US citizen, followed by a serious psychological examination.
Sounds like a good prerequisite to me!
Someone pointed out that in most states taking an anger management course will get you reported as violent and the during a background check you are denied.
I’m sorry, but that’s dem logic for you; totally illogical!
No, Pam, that’s the whole point. If you’re declared violent then you are denied access permanently. And they want us all to be their wards so they can “take care” of us and ensure their jobs are safe in perpetuity.
Unfortunately, you’re right. Makes me despair for the fate of our country…
…and then a Senator filibusters and things look better for a bit..
Quality, that is the reason she wants it – a little back door attempt to take away our only defense from them
I can’t AFFORD as much AS I THINK I NEED.
FUCK THIS COW.
Exactly.
