Whoops, I Did it Again

Worked in the yard yesterday. The Black Kona elephant ears are just not making it, what with the persistent bugs and the fact they can’t sit in water 24/7. Had them in a bucket of water for a year and they loved it. So, I brought them in yesterday for a ‘restart’. No, not willing to let go.

And, some plant that needs water desperately. I missed both watering days this week.

Hurt my back again, this time very low, middle, though it hurts more on the left side. Bent down to tie my shoelaces, as usual, and when I rose, the pain… was indescribable. It was very difficult to walk for an hour or so… so that’s what I did, just shuffled around, trying to hold myself as straight as possible, a bag of frozen corn stuffed down my shorts.

Getting older is great, isn’t it?? My mom was right; old age is not for the squeamish.
