The cheapest planned obamacare policy will be priced at a modest $20,000. for a family of four per year. And the IRS will be overseeing all of this; making sure we buy just the right insurance for our needs. There are minimum guidelines, you know!
Starting next year, the IRS will assume responsibility for telling Americans just what kind of health insurance they must buy in order to … well, breathe free air, or something. Taxpayers will have to submit proof of health-insurance coverage along with their W-2s, and that health insurance has to meet minimum guidelines, which are classified by the IRS as “bronze,” the lowest of four tiers identified for tax purposes. And the average cost of a bronze plan for a family of four? Such a family will have to fork out twenty thousand dollars in health insurance:
In a final regulation issued Wednesday, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) assumed that under Obamacare the cheapest health insurance plan available in 2016 for a family will cost $20,000 for the year.
Under Obamacare, Americans will be required to buy health insurance or pay a penalty to the IRS.
This actually makes me feel better because I don’t personally know a family of four who can afford -especially in this economy- $1,600. a month for health insurance. Revolt over guns? Wait til the average obama voter discovers that the prez won’t give ‘em free health insurance. Katy bar the door! The uprising will be quick and vicious, like a rattlesnake going after a field mouse.
Edited to add: When Mike came home he said people won’t pay what they can’t afford; they’ll pay the penalty… just like businesses will pay the fines rather than contribute toward ensuring their employees, which would be more money. So… lots of companies and individuals paying fines to Uncle obama… with little to no return. Hmmm… the rattlesnake theory still holds.
