Both my high school English teacher daughters wanted posters of well known art to hang in their classrooms both to expose their underprivileged students to art and culture and to use as instructional tools so a couple years ago I started adding a few posters per Christmas/birthday gift lists for them. This year they both got Christina’s World – they had both specifically asked for that one a couple years ago but that is one piece that is very expensive in any size. They got small ones.
I’ve always always loved Wyeth, especially Christina.

I think we studied it -and others- in history. Had to be; there was no art appreciation in those days.
