Um, private sales with no records kept are still legal in most states. This is the so called gun show loophole. Oddly, the same newspapers thundering for gun bans still advertise firearms in the classifieds, again, no records kept.
Funny how I sold all my guns at the last gun show. That’s how I got my brakes fixed. Can you get a warrant before I can move stuff? There is gonna be a hell of a lot of this.
After WW2 when Britain first tightened up their gun laws there were hundreds of thousands who remembered the days after Dunkirk who hid their guns.
There is still a memory of Reconstruction in the American south. Passed down from grandfather to grandchild, the memory remains. Government drones will find it a mistake to turn millions of Americans into criminals. For starters, where will they put us all? Hell, they can’t afford to keep the prisoners they have already.
We sold several guns privately at a show in Texas while on the ‘eat a gun a month diet’, but you can’t do that here in Florida anymore.
I’m still waiting for someone to come out with a comprehensive plan for hiding guns! And I think they’d better hurry…
