Yeah, what Grau said.
And I’m through trying to fight the fucktardistas. I can’t stand the grunting of people wallowing in the shit of their own ignorance anymore. I can’t justify spending emotional and intellectual capital trying to
shout over the squeals as they swarm to a trough filled by others any longer. As far as I’m concerned any iota of national pride I had left died this week. I love what the United States stood for, and once was, and mourn that it no longer is. Honestly, I now realize it’s been dead for years and what I thought were the seizures of a curable disease were actually the writhing of maggots eating the corpse from within.
I’m stocking up on everything I can, fucking the government out of every dime I can keep, and if possible I will avail myself of everything I can get OUT of the system before it collapses. I will teach my children the same, and do my best to ensure they have the skill sets they require to thrive. The values I once held dear are now a fatal handicap and I will NOT lie to my sons about it.
They will never know the America I believed in, and this makes me weep.
There’s more, but it’s basically what we’re all thinking; those of us who can still reason, that is…

And just keep in mind – if/when, due to QE eternity, hyperinflation does indeed hit…. well, you can buy more in prep supplies now with that $100 than you will be able to then.
Very, very true! Unfortunately, I’m not versed on that sort of thing… must google it…
oh honey – now you’re singing my song!
Quite a few posts coming down the pike from me will be about food security, personal protection, and medical prep. A quick one: We’ve been buying our own antibiotics legally over the internet without a prescription for almost a year now….
If nothing else, this crap has me blogging again
Good! I’m looking forward to more posts… especially as I try to [finally] cobble together Go bags, etc…

You can also by antibiotics and farmer supply places…
*at*, not *and*
I didn’t know that!
Not much point to buying antibiotics in states that will enjoy Obamacare, now is there?
On a related note, I have used leftover antibiotics most notably to treat Beau for a nasty dogbite that abcessed as in this economy I have no money for vet bills.
It’s amazing how resourceful you can be when everything you have is gone, credit and surplus cashwise.

Actually, I put the $250 Katadyn on my list. Small one just as good?
Yeah – but damn woman, that one is expensive!
Yep. Must look at the others!!
Go Grau go!
Fuck that shit, I’m reloading. Goddamn, where’s the spirit of John Paul Jones in you sorry lot???

what makes you think we’re not

We just have to ready ourselves for any eventuality…
It might be the charge of the Light Brigade, but I won’t go down without a fight!
The crash is coming, I will probably live long enough to see it. I do not believe I’ll live to see us come out of it and have no idea what it will look like after.
No idea.
same here Peter – just went thru the dive gear, do I need five sets of fins, 3 wet suits? – I think not – the main dive bag is huge with wheels & backpack straps, Pamibe has her Go Bag to start filling – Erinyes, you are screwed, you have no escape route unless you can swim over 100 miles, Hmm.. several kayak,s sounds good for you using the Gulf side north into the glades – 22 revolver with subsonics would be a big help for gater meat
I’ve got the AK, a shotgun and the Mosin. Pretty set for hunting gators, iguanas and Key deer. Besides, we’ll take over Fort Taylor!

Cool! Hey, we’ve got a boat, we could join you! No, don’t know who’d watch the dogs…
Dogs are welcomed. There’s a beach where we can have cookouts and everything.
Sounds goo!
Put the dogs on the boat, silly. Dogs are good night guards.

We are half a mile from the biggest lake n Texas, we have oodles of firewood to cook with and to boil water. We have deer, wild hogs, small game and lots of cows. I have enough handloading components for thousands of rounds of my centerfire cartridges, a few thousand .22LR rounds.A few hundred pounds of lead and enough bullet lube to handle a lifetime of hunting.
We’ll be okay until the coffee runs out, then I’m raiding.

Head over to dog fort. We’ll have plenty of coffee…
Coffee’s the tipping point, eh?
It’s all I’ve got left, can’t have grog!
