Of course they find Anne’s speech repugnant. She speaks truth to power, and power never likes truth.
Now, she can be a little, shall we say – over the top? but it is still truth. And in today’s world, if we don’t have voices like Anne’s we’ll not be heard.
But yeah, you know how I feel…

So I’m putting up Christmas decorations and listening to Christmas music and watching cheesy Christmas movies and planning menus and I’ve finished my shopping (much much less this year) and have my gift projects well under way.

Instead of dwelling on – mourning for – my dead country, I’m focusing on my family.

Oh, and the Batman remains optimistic…. Can’t keep a good man down http://pamibe.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/4.gif He refuses to engage my pessimism right now http://pamibe.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/ashamed.gif

Good for Batman!! We should all follow his lead… and yours. Busy ourselves, be the best we can be… work and pray. Pilgrim’s Progress… http://pamibe.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_yes.gif

I read about retards who were going to sign up for free shit to hasten the implosion of the economy. Good plan. Thing is, if you aren’t getting the freebies already it’s because you don’t qualify because you’re working to PROVIDE them.

True… Damn, wouldn’t it be so easy to just stop fighting and join the other side… the perennial takers? Don’t worry, just take!

      Sigh.

I am wondering with a sick amusement what are they going to do when the tax payers are eliminated – Hmm.. How long to reach that point, one,two years at most?

They’ll be rioting in the streets like Greece. I’m with Patti. I’m focusing on other things rather than thinking about how dumb Americans are. I have a new law website and I’m trying to drum up business.

the way I am looking at it, they stole it and it is over – we have no way to fight them and the only recourse is to forget it and go on with life and make it the best we can – any effort trying to change it is wasted with no chance of a positive return – http://pamibe.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/americanflag.gifhttp://pamibe.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/texas_flag.gif

Hell, they don’t even care that 150% of the population of Florida voted, what makes you think they would even look in the direction of Benghazi?

The Republicans in Congress are whipped.

So, what will all these Obama voters do when the EPA shuts down the coal fired electric generators? When their flat screen TVs don’t work and their free Obama phones won’t charge. When their taxpayer funded housing is colld and dark in the winter and hot and dark in the summer.

What will the Obama voters do after the EPA shuts down the pig farms and beef feedlots because of the runoff from the manure piles?

I predict bloodshed and flames. When it starts I’m gonna tear up some golf courses, it’s the only way I know to hurt the somnobeetch.http://pamibe.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/smiley-finger007.gifhttp://pamibe.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/smiley-finger007.gif

Where to start? Even though Stu and I have been apart for three years, we remain married because I am on his insurance. He found out on Friday that the company is changing the policy so that if your spouse can be insured through their job, you have to pay an extra $75 per month.

The kicker is that it is entirely possible that the restaurant will cut all of our hours to keep us under the minimum amount necessary to offer us insurance.

    Basically, I’m screwed.

All I can do at this point is work as many shifts as they’ll let me, pay off my bills and hope that the housing market eventually turns around enough so that I can at least sell this house and get the fuck out of Illinois. Even though all of my friends are here, the cost of living is killing me. In order to survive, I’m going to have to move to a state that has lower tax rates.

And, the first dipshit Obama voter that bitches about the price of gas, heat, a/c, food, etc. in my presence gets a punch in the fucking snoot.

The whole “moving to a place with a lower cost of living ” thing only works if you don’t depend on others to make a decent living, at least in my field. Where it’s cheaper to live there ain’t no jobs.

There’s always a restaurant hiring, and/or a temp agency that needs people who aren’t total idiots.

While I don’t have a “career”, 20+ years of being a jill-of-all-trades makes it easy for me to transition from one field to another.

Well when the riots come because the government has taken over and there are no more freebies, guess who has all the guns.

It will be nice to live in an all republican US.

Yep – but keep in mind they also have guns, they just do not practice like we do, they need more ammo so they should run out first – self-defense only and controlling your shots should help stay safe -

I lived in a place with a lower cost of living: Vegas. We also had the highest unemployment in the country. I’d rather live in San Diego with all the beauty and my family…and have to pay the price for Paradise.

P.S. I qualify for all sorts of freebies, but I don’t want ‘em.
