Checks and Balances

While president obama rings muslim brotherhood leader Mohamed Morsi to congratulate him on his Egyptian victory… Congressman Allen West still sees the danger inherent in radical islam and calls for the president to cut off foreign aid to Egypt and repudiate the muslim brotherhood.

A year ago there were those of us who warned the Obama Administration of a Muslim Brotherhood takeover in Egypt. We were castigated as alarmists and loose cannons. Today our predictions have come to reality and the ominous specter reminding us of the Iranian revolution is evident. The Muslim Brotherhood claimed they would not run a presidential candidate. Clearly the Arab Spring is nothing more than a radical Islamic nightmare. Now we need to unequivocally reiterate our support to the Coptic Christians and Israel. What an incredible foreign policy faux pas by the second coming of President Jimmy Carter, the Obama Administration. I call upon President Barack Obama to cut off American foreign aid to Egypt, denounce the results of this election, repudiate the Muslim Brotherhood, and all radical Islamist political entities.
Congressman Allen West

Won’t happen. If obama had been president in 1987, he wouldn’t have yelled “..Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!”. He would have said “Gorby, congrats on such a sturdy structure, dude”.

That two such men are in our government gives my mind some peace… where the one scares the beejebus out of me, the other makes me feel proud and, yes, safer. If only the tables were turned and West were the president and obama the congressman…

    How about VP Alan West, and unemployed community organizer Barack Obama? That’s entirely possible, come November.

      I wish! Romney seems to be hanging with Paul Ryan… who I dearly love, but think he’s needed where he is… and Marco Rubio. Eh.

      What about Bobby Jindal?

      I think West would be perfect for either P or VP, of course.

        I have had a big ol’ case of Bobby Jindal love for a long, long time… I just think he’s brilliant. And personable. And articulate.

        {Fluttery sigh….}

        How I would love to hear a debate between him and Obama… it would almost make me feel sorry for that idiot.

        Almost.

        But, I guess I’d settle for seeing him mop the floor with Slow Joe.

          It’s no secret I want West, but Jindal would be a brilliant pick for VP!

          Yeah, I can’t wait for the debates…

    West should be VP or Secretary of Defense. Obama is a moron and he should be tried for treason for meeting with the enemy.

      I think he’d make an excellent Defense Secretary, but if there’s an asshole in the White House, he’d be stymied at every turn; a political eunuch if you will.

    I would vote for West without question for any job he wanted, he would know best what he should/could do to help our country to get back on track and back to being the America we fought to protect and not this dingy Democratic substitution
