Reproductive Freedom

The People’s Cube delivers some of the tastiest hors d’oeuvres on the interwebs. I really love this graphic

Haha!

But I was not as amused with the accompanying graphic, which displays a little fish on a bicycle next to Fluke…

Haha?

What the Fluke analogy seems to be saying is: in her eyes, a woman needs a family like a fish needs a bicycle.

DEEP BREATH

Freedom means you can have a family if you so choose. Or not. Though children are a gift from God, some of us are not physically capable of receiving that gift. Some of us simply choose to be single. Some of us are gay and are barred from unions with our partners. Or how about we know our own limitations?

Yes, Fluke is a tool. But even though she would like for us to pay for some of them, she’s a woman who makes her own choices… just like childless little me.

Or maybe I’m overreacting…

Oh, I’m a double threat; a childless woman who doesn’t work. :hide:

You can have the bonbons; I’m eating Blue Bell Cherry Cheesecake ice cream. Mmmmm…

I think you might be overreacting just a tad. It’s only natural, of course, when we have made our choices and lived by them and it’s too durned late to change anything, yeah well re tend to get a tad touchy.
