President Obama assured Russian President Dmitry Medvedev Monday that he’d have “more flexibility” after the November election, during a conversation that appeared to focus on the touchy issue of missile defense.

Obama, during a sit-down with Medvedev in Seoul, urged Moscow to give him “space” until after November. The conversation was relayed by a TV pool producer who listened to the recording from a Russian journalist.

“This is my last election. After my election, I have more flexibility,” Obama told Medvedev.

Obama appeared to be asking Medvedev to relay this point to Vladimir Putin, who recently won election to return to the Russian presidency.

“On all these issues, but particularly missile defense … this can be solved but it’s important for him to give me space,” Obama said.

Medvedev told the president he understood the “message about space. Space for you …”

After Obama noted he’d have more flexibility in the future, Medvedev told him: “I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir.”

    to do what? to shut down all our defenses so he will not need another election to stay in power – he hopes whoever takes over will let him continue to dictate, but no one will want/allow a person like him to join them

    doesn’t he need to be a legal President to impeach him? Since all his documents appear to be forgery’s, I do not think he is legally in office, so then he cannot be impeached – Do not forget the last Democrat in that office sold the Chinese a lot of secrets also – I am not sure we have anything of value left considering what was given & sold by our leaders

    I dunno. There is a good chance that Obama might not even be on the ballot in several States. And sooner or later somebody will blab about what Sheriff Joe out in Phoenix is doing with his investigations.

    Fast and Furious is still bubbling on the back burner, too. and each month closer to the election this one looks worse and worse. And everything this bunch of bozos try to do moves the middle class further and further away. Now there isn’t a single high ranking official from the Obama Regime saying anything at all about the New Black Panthers and their reward to the capture of Zimmerman. Since Zimmerman has not even been charges with a crime that is offering a reward for kidnapping or murder. Can you spell RICO indictment? I knew that you could. The Obama Regime? Crickets. How is this going over with the average citizen who is plumb sick of crime?

    I think this Regime knows they’re gonna lose and like the Occupy crowd squatting in a building, they’re just out to trash the place as much as possible before the cops (read voters) show up.

      Your take is usually the right one, Peter. I dearly hope they lose… I’ve been holding my breath for the past few days, hoping the Supremes do their job… Guess I’ve got a LOT of hope…
