This is extremely good news for conservatives. But should Newt step aside at this point? I say yes. I like Newt, but he’s not for everyone. My only qualm about Santorum is somewhat petty and would never affect my vote in the general: Rick’s voice is like a sleeping pill for me. Unfortunately, it’s difficult to hear what someone’s saying if you’re asleep.
I filched this from Harvey. It’s just too good…

it is that goofy face he makes in debates that gets to me (santorum) but i believe he actually means what he says 10 times more than i believe the other two mean what they say.
the “santorum is splitting the vote” thing bothered me all along. how is it that santorum is splitting the vote but newt isn’t? they are together splitting the vote. either stepping out would help the other.
we shall see, by the time i get a vote here in NC – it will all have been decided.

I think the ‘splitting the vote’ thing is purely from the person’s perspective. I wrote that about Santorum.
Now I think Newt’s the one doing it.

yeah – i saw when you did that. decided to button my lip on that one

I knew you’d remember that!

I don’t give a shit. AnyTHING but Obama…Hell an AK toting garden gnome would do a better job than the current POS…

And look better doing it!

Mitt is only 1 state win over Newt – I think Mitt & Ron should drop out – Mitt because be could not beat the person that could not beat Obama – Why could he beat him now? – what has he done the last 4 years? nothing as far as I know

I agree about Mitt and Ron dropping out, not that they will…

if you listened to some of the answers I have given to the pollsters, you would think Obama already won – Media, keep thinking & believing that, and say what the F### after the vote is in on that November, Tuesday night and we take control and stop the taxpayers from funding you -
9. February 2012 at 8:24 pm
I think the ones I’ve spoken with have gotten the truth out of me. Oh, it was freely given… but 9 times out of 10 I didn’t answer the phone. Twenty calls a day from pollsters gets old fast…
9. February 2012 at 8:40 pm
almost forgot – the low turnout is 2 part – 1) just how many pissed off Republicans have left the part and cannot vote? Pam stopped me from dropping out – 2) how many Democrats that re-registered Republican for the Stop Mitt in 08 changed back and could not vote? – 3) there were no points given so why bother? – the list goes on, we will write in who we want when the time comes, hay, it worked in Alaska when she lost the primary – why would it not work for us?
10. February 2012 at 6:58 am
I was shocked at some of the people who were Independents… and could not vote in the primary. Decided right then I’d keep the Republican…
