Dogs and Fog

Angel

Bree, Angel and Daisy [code names Sable, Red and Dapple] are working diligently together for the sake of world domination. Or just this region.

I may never get another picture of Daisy, as she keeps to herself in a little cubby under my desk while Bree endures the attacks from Angel... and plays with her as well. The two have a great time, though Bree seems to have suddenly aged. Maybe she needs a spa visit.

Angel is like the energizer bunny on speed. I remember when I said the same thing about Bree.

It's foggy! Happens very few times a year down here but when it does, I'm reminded of southeast Texas.

Fog was rolling in Friday morning at 4:00a as I drove the Turnpike to the airport. The lights on either side of the freeway seemed to be throwing the stuff out into a dark night. Mesmerizing. Then on the return trip the fog had crawled onto the north side of the road and lingered.

When you don't see it very often, it's easy to appreciate fog. How funny.

She will. All that time I groaned about Bree’s energy level I also thought ahead to a time when sleeping and eating are all she’ll want to do… and tried to appreciate her youth.

Right now Angel is terrorizing Bree and Bree is making her funny ‘not right now’ noises. Okay, she gave in and is playing. But.. not much. Poor girl. She probably envies Daisy’s ability to hide under the desk… LOL!

On the other hand, payback’s a bitch.

We have three desks in this house and C.A.P can fit under any one of them, and often does. For some reason she is still terrified of Linda Lou’s walker and tries to hide from it every time LL gets up and goes to the bathroom. I’m sort of used to having my feet smooshed at my computer desk. I tend to complain when she forces her way under the old schoolteacher’s desk that I have my various handloading gear clamped onto. When she forces her way under there the scales lose their little “minds” and whatever I’m tryin’ to do has to wait.

Linda Lou won’t let me watch anything to do with politics on the teevee because she hates it when both dogs hide under her desk if I start cussin’ loud.

Just thinking about that German Shepherd getting under your desk makes me smile! Haven’t you ever told her about Rin Tin Tin? :D

I know; I’ve been in fog that thick, where you can’t even see your hands in front of your face… but this is south Florida’s version… ;)

Erinyes says I can’t have any more animals. Otherwise, the place would look like a zoo.
