    There is a brass bead front sight on my little lever action .45 Colt rifle. There is a (Probably fake) ivory bead front sight on my double barrel shotgun. That rainbow feller looks a lot better with either of those beads superimposed in his, um, that skinny thing is supposed to be a chest?

    The older I get the more I wish we had a governmental system like in Heinlein’s Starship Troopers, no vote without at least on hithch in the Service. Those assholes would be a helluva lot better off for having gone through boot camp.

    Or, perhaps, a long visit to Peter’s World, with copious amounts of Napalm slashed gleefully about over anyone who annoys me sufficiently. Oh, and the older I get, the more easily I am annoyed.

    Peter – they would never make it past the first two weeks of boot camp – they would commit suicide as I saw others do when I was there – now on a non-joking matter, was that a review of a new :one flew over the cuckoo’s nest”? – also is everyone there gay?

      Mike, the survivors of boot camp might end up Democrats but they’d be Harry Truman Dems, not like this bunch. As too the suicides, I saw enough young men die who wanted desperately to live. I have little care for those who commit suicide. I’m more like, “um, can I have his sammich?”

      Also, everyone there isn’t gay, there are enough cases of outdoor, public screwing to prove that. I also suspect there are a lot of cases of unreported rape there. It might come as a surprise but all of those people are not model citizens.
