these little fuzzies are so dang cute

    • Pam Says:

They are! And now they’re not afraid of me at all… which is good unless they’ve lost their fear of all people…

  2. Peter Says:

Just remember, the more grains you feed them the better they’ll taste come “harvest time”. Would you like me to send you some recipes? The Chinese, especially, have some really good ones.

  3. Peter Says:

Oh, and it will help if they get used to you feeding them with one hand and holding the hatchet in the other. Mmm, Peking Duck.

  4. Pam Says:

Maybe *some* people in the ‘hood would eat them, but I won’t… not unless I get really hungry. ;)

  5. Eileen Says:

Just adorable photos. The ducklings are just so cute.

Boo Hahn and Darla would like to play with them. Well Boo Hahn would, the one time one of those micro-pet dog things tried to play with her, she was so freaked out that it moved and came after her, I nearly peed my pants watching her try to get away and not step on it. And that little snot wanted nothing more than to be her friend…Lord that was funny!

Darla would play and then try to herd and Momma Duck probably wouldn’t be too amused. But oh those little fuzzy heads are so sweet! I keep asking DH for a baby cow for the girls to play with in the back yard…no lawn to cut. But he keeps saying no for some reason. No sense of adventure. Besides, Tammi, Boo Hahn, Darla, Daisy and myself can teach it to play tag and follow the laser pointer! Wouldn’t that be fun?!  :woot:

Awww… a little heifer to keep the yard mowed and later on fresh milk! :D

They make good pets… except for the whole sanitation thing…
