My sweetsop tree has finally yielded fruit!

Are you excited too? Yep, I could tell. Oh, sorry about the garbage cans in the shot. I didn’t want green on green on green… that would have been… well, too much green.
…have to get the grill ready to kill the atmosphere…

That is one scary looking fruit but the link makes it sound delicious. Mm, custard…
I’ll let you know what it actually tastes like when it matures.
What the hell is THAT?
Sweetsop. Custard apple.
I might be a little more excited if I could bemember ever hearin’ about a Sweeetsop afore.
I totally understand; never heard of it myself until Cleveland planted this one.
looks…um… well… different, yeah, that’s it, different
It looks nasty when opened up, too.
What planet does that fruit come from?
We are grilling out on 2 grills tomorrow. Gas AND charcoal. Double whammy.
Wiki says: “native to the tropical Americas and widely grown in El Salvador, India, Pakistan and the Philippines. Its exact native range is unknown due to extensive cultivation, but thought to be in the Caribbean”
Good for you! Hope y’all have a great Independence Day!
that’s very exciting! I’ve never heard of it before. But, naturally, now I’m covetting it and want one in my yard!
I thought you had one! I thought you had everything!
That first shot is super cool! So is the second one.
Thanks!!
