Baby Doc Returns…

January 17, 2011

Current Events, Holy Shit!

I’ll be very interested to see how the Obamination Administration reacts to this.

As for the following?

President Rene Preval — who told reporters in 2007 that Duvalier could return to Haiti but would face justice for the deaths of thousands of people and the theft of millions of dollars — made no public comment on the former dictator’s re-emergence. But Prime Minister Jean-Max Bellerive shrugged it off.

“He is a Haitian and, as such, is free to return home,” Bellerive told The Associated Press.

I guess if you’re a corrupt and bloodthirsty dictator ousted and allowed to live in exile for a quarter-century in the lap of luxury in France you have somehow paid for your crimes?

Screw Preval AND Haiti. They deserve what they get and they deserve no more US aid.

Lemme know how that works out for you, Pal.

Yeah, whatever. Haiti is his home, so he can come back, sure. Morons.

And why, after billions of dollars have been thrown at it, is nothing happening in Haiti? Why is it not rebuilt, hopefully with building codes this time?
Because the people are sitting on their hands waiting for the government to do it? Don’t know, just asking.

The government has not passed the money down to the people – once the money is in the corrupt hands, it will stay there – If I remember correctly, everyone that was not corrupt that has tried for an office there did not survive until the election was over or they withdrew for their families safety -

I guess they’ve forgotten about the Haitian necklace…
