First let me say – every rendition of that song I’ve heard, I’ve loved.
Second – remember when I posted last year that a dear dear friend of mine was murdered by her husband on New Year’s Eve? Tomorrow is the second anniversary of her death. I keep her picture next to my computer – I look at her beautiful face every day – and yesterday I visited her parents for the first time since her death. Just to give them both a hug.
Happy New Year friend – wish I could give you a hug too
That was so fun. In the beginning I was like, “Oh no. Nobody is going to hug them!” and then when people did, some of them were so dang funny, some were touching. Did you see that one woman dance away? I laughed. My Mom would do that.
Happy New Year, Pam. May your new year be full of hugs…
I loved each and every person who hugged them; sometimes it’s not easy to let your guard down with strangers… it would depend on my mood that day whether or not I’d do it… I loved that woman who danced away… awesome video… think I’ll watch it again!!
Happy 2011, Bou!! Hope y’all have a fantastic year.
The Sick Puppies did a video for one of their songs. They offered free hugs. It made me weep. All the iterations have made me cry. It’s amazing when you see the first person walk up and take the hug…
I remember Tamitha Freemen. Harvey says: “She’s got beautiful puppies”.
"Lord, keep our servicemen and women safe, whether they serve at home or overseas. Hold them and their families in your loving hands and protect them as they protect us."

that’s more powerful than a flash mob, in my opinion
and one for giggles

I agree with wRitErsbLock, hug is more powerful than a flash mob.

There’s something so basic to human beings in touch; we need it like we require air to breathe.
Why I always cry when I see the vid… I don’t know…
