Construction is at its lowest level in 10 years.
Americans lost 10,000 private-sector jobs in August.
The unemployment rate has not fallen below 10.8 percent in the last 13 months.

You really think throwing more non-existent ‘stimulus’ money at this problem will fix it, Mr. obama? Arrogant socialist tosser.

Yes, it is.

There is some good news, though. Times will be hard for a while, perhaps for the rest of my life because I’m old. Still, after this, no one will ever be able to claim that John Maynord Keynes was anything but a bozo. And it will be another few generations before anyone can run for a high political office unvetted.
I do not know who will do this vetting, the legacy media will all be dead but there are huge changes coming to our political landscape. Probably our social landscape, too. We are about due for another Great Awakening.

How will this change ever come to pass? Sometimes I think I see glimmers of light, but most is still in darkness.

The thing about that unemployment rate is that it’s artificially low. They don’t count the people who are no longer getting unemployment benefits. So I’m not included in that number because I’ve been unemployed for 2.5 years. I’m still looking, but like most people, I don’t expect to find anything in the near future. Anyway.
Shyeah, Keynes can kiss it.

Should reference when Carter was in office for comparison, as Obama seems very similiar to Jimmy 2.4.

Similar, yet somehow much worse…

Well, four years of Jimmeh Carter brought us eight years of Reagan.
As to where the change will come from, us. That’s where. Somewhere between a third of a million and half a million of us in Washington City last week, and how many others who like us, were there in spirit. For all the new age and liberation theology horsecrap out there the “hard Christian” churches arethe ones that are growing, and growing fast.
Further, kids. Who is having kids? The “elite” with one designer baby, in their late thirties, if that, or us? This is why the left is so desperate to take over the education establishment, but it won’t work. Sure, they’ll capture some of the kids but the left is fundamentally stupid. They tell kids all this crap but they forget, kids have eyes.
