Since moving here, I have been watching this area of the Overseas Highway. It’s part of the original road that has been turned into a fishing pier. I have yet to see more than three people “working” on it (i.e. sitting around on their asses). Most of the time, there is not one person to be found.
So much for all that well-spent stimulus money…
We only saw 3 guys one day. Then it was like 1 or 2. Now no one has been there for days. Wonder how much we spent on those yahoos.
Those signs must be dangerous; I’ve never seen anyone working near one! Someone call OSHA and ask.
the sign itself is the project – the sign makers are part of the left wing that will give some of the money back under the table just like the car dealerships that were given the franchise after forcing the right wing ones to close – the signs are to distract you from asking why so much money was sent to more than 435 congressional district that do not exist – I really want to put some people in jail for a long time for what they are doing – this reminds me of the millions for the underground tunnel for the turtles to cross the road – they forgot to train them to use it I bet

We actually had a lot of great roadwork done in MA, but I do agree that the stimulus could have been spent better. Mind you, I’m saying better, not that it should have been eliminated. With the economy in a free fall, I’m not sure “do nothing” or “cutting taxes” (without controlling spending) was going to do anything to stop the meltdown.
By the way, keep in mind that pork is not an idea created by the Democrats. There are plenty of Republican led states in Congress that received a bunch of government subsidies (e.g. MS, NM, WV)
