There are so many things that stick out like a sore thumb about this interview, I don’t know how to begin.
This may have been a frustrating exchange for him, but that’s par for the course these days. At least he has ceased that infernal ‘I won the election’ nonsense.
The first family flew to New Orleans to commemorate the fifth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.
Obama skipped the wreath laying ceremony at Arlington last Memorial Day. He skipped the Boy Scout’s Jamboree marking the organization’s 100th anniversary, skipped jury duty, skipped President Bush’s farewell address to the nation, skipped the Salute to Heroes Inaugural ball. Reportedly skips church constantly in lieu of golf.
But he made it down to Louisiana for the anniversary of a hurricane?
Some gems from the interview:
“I can’t spend all of my time with my birth certificate plastered on my forehead,”
Frustrated much? A man who spends a good deal of money to seal all his records should just shut up. He has brought the speculation on himself.
About the gathering of 500,000 this past weekend:
“It’s not surprising that someone like a Mr. Beck is able to stir up a certain portion of [the American people]. … That’s been true throughout our history,” he said.
I’ve got news for him; I never watch or listen to ‘Mr. Beck’, yet if I could have made it to D.C., I would have gone in a heartbeat. Obama is the impetus, the horrible decisions he has made is all the prompting I and many thousands of other people need to show up and protest.
Not Beck or Palin or whoever else was there. Obama is the reason for the malaise. The cure comes in November.

It was AWESOME!! The feeling of the crowd was light, happy, ebullient, celebratory, loving, and positive. As for those who keep calling it a “lily white” crowd – that is not our choice. No one is standing at any gate keeping anyone out. All are totally welcome regardless of race. We’d all LOVE to have more from other ethnic groups join us. There were others there, I personally saw blacks, Asians, Hispanics, even a few Indians (from India) not even counting the Native Americans that were on the stage and sitting in the front. We WANT more from other groups to wake up and join us, really really we do.
As we were leaving the Sharpton March was making it’s way down Pennsylvania Avenue so we were treated to their mood as we walked back to our metro station. Sharp contrast I must say. They were shouting “NO PEACE”, shaking their fists, negative, hateful – hate filled and angry and in come cases threatening.
I’ll lake the positive happy crowd.
And any estimate you hear of anything less than 500,000 is laughable.

That sounds wonderful, Patti!! From the pictures I saw, 500,000 is a conservative estimate! And they all seemed pretty dadgum happy!
The Sharpton crowd was yelling ‘no peace’? Holy crap, they sound angry…

Katrina was an undeniable disaster. Obama went to New Orleans because like attracts like.

I spewed coffee on the tv when he said, “I can’t spend all of my time with my birth certificate plastered on my forehead,”. Really?! REALLY?!
He was pretty miffed when Matt brought up the fact that a growing (and continuing to grow) portion of the population believe he is first, last and always a Muslim, NOT a Christian. Says a lot right there, now don’t it people?!
And I agree. There was nothing, NOTHING about Beck’s rally in Washington that had anything to do with hate. It was about God, about belief and about taking back and reclaiming honor. She’s been trounced upon more than a 50 cent hooker at a 2 for 1 sale. It’s time she was given her own special moment and that The People remember her and help her to stand tall once again.
As for Sharpton, anything that snake oil salesman has to say comes with its own tetnus shot. ’nuff said.
I am so looking forward to this election, it’s going to be wonderful! I am so thrilled and honored to get to be a poll worker and watch it happen first hand. AND I can’t wait for next years election and then the big one after that. It’s gonna get good now people…I have to believe that.
30. August 2010 at 3:55 pm
Like that’s what he thinks we’re concerned about, right? A birth cert. Riiight…. wanker.
30. August 2010 at 3:21 pm
Some disease. Obama wouldn’t make a pimple on an elephant’s ass, yet he has almost single-handedly destroyed this country.
30. August 2010 at 3:56 pm
He’s viral.

I think we should rename November “Penicillian” since it’s what we’ll need (this year, next year and the year after…like a booster shot) to get over the Obamavirus.
Just hope like an STD it clears up in one dose…maybe we can sneak some in to Pelosi’s morning witches brew before she jumps on her broom to fly to work.

Don’t forget Harry Reid and the rest of the impossibles!
31. August 2010 at 12:25 am
Yeah, I’m sort of a birther. Not because I do not believe he was born in Hawaii but because he spent I dunno how much money (money from whom?) in court to prevent him showing his birth certificate. I don’t want it plastered on his forehead, I just want him to show the effing thing, once. To a crowd including some conservatives. Oh, and his writings from school. And how did he get to “Pockistan? And who paid for it? And his school transcripts. You know, all the things that other Presidents and presidential candidates have had to show. How come lefties all looked down their noses at Palin’s degree but Obama is an effing mystery?
Sorry, maybe it’s because of the way I made my living but I hate mysteries.

You’re hardly alone; more than half the nation wants his records open. What is he hiding and why spend so much?
He’s the first president to keep his cellphone and the first seal every damn record, shielding the public from the truth of who he really is… the amazing thing is, they elected him in spite of it!
31. August 2010 at 12:30 am
Look! I made an entire sorta long comment about that cocksucker Obama without using one complete cuss word. It was hard talking about that sonofabitch without using my entire vocabulary, including the ones that I haven’t heard since boot camp in 1964.
Oh, and it’s not a birth certificate I want to see plastered on his forehead, it’s an overwhelmingly conservative Republican Congress. Every member taking a dump on his forehead, daily.
31. August 2010 at 8:32 am
Well, you held out as long as you could…
31. August 2010 at 12:37 pm
Just wait, once he’s out of office, we’ll have the biggest, grandest building ever imagined to become the Obama Presidential Library. Only problem is, the doors are all locked and the glass doors on the bookcases keep you from touching, opening or worst yet
reading a book or paper in it.
It’ll be like the Emporers New Clothes all over again.
Can’t wait to see the fundraising for that little gem start up. Wonder if Babs and Oprah will cough up any dough?
31. August 2010 at 12:40 pm
You are *so* good!
