Investigators: Obama using Connecticut Soc. Sec. Number
3 experts insist White House answer new questions about documentation
Two private investigators working independently are asking why President Obama is using a Social Security number set aside for applicants in Connecticut while there is no record he ever had a mailing address in the state.
In addition, the records indicate the number was issued between 1977 and 1979, yet Obama’s earliest employment reportedly was in 1975 at a Baskin-Robbins ice-cream shop in Oahu, Hawaii.
WND has copies of affidavits filed separately in a presidential eligibility lawsuit in the U.S. District Court of the District of Columbia by Ohio licensed private investigator Susan Daniels and Colorado private investigator John N. Sampson.
The investigators believe Obama needs to explain why he is using a Social Security number reserved for Connecticut applicants that was issued at a date later than he is known to have held employment.
The Social Security website confirms the first three numbers in his ID are reserved for applicants with Connecticut addresses, 040-049.
“Since 1973, Social Security numbers have been issued by our central office,” the Social Security website explains. “The first three (3) digits of a person’s social security number are determined by the ZIP code of the mailing address shown on the application for a social security number.”
The question is being raised amid speculation about the president’s history fueled by an extraordinary lack of public documentation. Along with his original birth certificate, Obama also has not released educational records, scholarly articles, passport documents, medical records, papers from his service in the Illinois state Senate, Illinois State Bar Association records, any baptism records and adoption papers.
Robert Siciliano, president and CEO of IDTheftSecurity.com and a nationally recognized expert on identity theft, agrees the Social Security number should be questioned.
“I know Social Security numbers have been issued to people in states where they don’t live, but there’s usually a good reason the person applied for a Social Security number in a different state,” Siciliano told WND.
WND asked Siciliano whether he thought the question was one the White House should answer.
“Yes,” he replied. “In the case of President Obama, I really don’t know what the good reason would be that he has a Social Security number issued in Connecticut when we know he was a resident of Hawaii.”
Siciliano is a frequent expert guest on identify theft on cable television networks, including CNN, CNBC and the Fox News Channel.
Daniels and Sampson each used a different database showing Obama is using a Social Security number beginning with 042.
WND has further confirmed that the Social Security number in question links to Obama in the online records maintained by the Selective Service System. Inserting the Social Security number, his birth date and his last name produces a valid Selective Service number.
To verify the number was issued by the Social Security Administration for applicants in Connecticut, Daniels used a Social Security number verification database. She found that the numbers immediately before and immediately after Obama’s were issued to Connecticut applicants between the years 1977 and 1979.
“There is obviously a case of fraud going on here,” Daniels maintained. “In 15 years of having a private investigator’s license in Ohio, I’ve never seen the Social Security Administration make a mistake of issuing a Connecticut Social Security number to a person who lived in Hawaii. There is no family connection that would appear to explain the anomaly.”
Does the Social Security Administration ever re-issue Social Security numbers?
“Never,” Daniels said. “It’s against the law for a person to have a re-issued or second Social Security number issued.”
Daniels said she is “staking my reputation on a conclusion that Obama’s use of this Social Security number is fraudulent.”
There is no indication in the limited background documentation released by the Obama 2008 presidential campaign or by the White House to establish that Obama ever lived in Connecticut.
Nor is there any suggestion in Obama’s autobiography, “Dreams from My Father,” that he ever had a Connecticut address.
Also, nothing can be found in the public record that indicates Obama visited Connecticut during his high-school years.
Sampson’s affidavit specifies that as a result of his formal training as an immigration officer and his 27-year career in professional law enforcement, “it is my knowledge and belief that Social Security numbers can only be applied for in the state in which the applicant habitually resides and has their official residence.”
Daniels told WND she believes Obama had a different Social Security number when he worked as a teenager in Hawaii prior to 1977.
“I doubt this is President Obama’s originally issued Social Security number,” she told WND. “Obama has a work history in Hawaii before he left the islands to attend college at Occidental College in California, so he must have originally been issued a Social Security number in Hawaii.”
The published record available about Obama indicates his first job as a teenager in Hawaii was at a Baskin-Robbins in the Makiki neighborhood on Oahu. USA Today reported the ice-cream shop still was in operation one year after Obama’s inauguration.
Politifact.com, a website typically supportive of Obama, claims he worked at the Baskin-Robbins in 1975 or 1976, prior to the issuance of the number in question.
“It is a crime to use more than one Social Security number, and Barack Obama had to have a previous Social Security number to have worked at Baskin-Robbins,” she insisted. “Under current law, a person is not permitted to use more than one Social Security number in a lifetime.”
Another anomaly in the law enforcement databases searched by Daniels and Sampson is that the date 1890 shows up in the field indicating the birth of the number holder, along with Obama’s birth date of 08/04/1961. A third date listed is 04/08/1961, which appears to be a transposition of Obama’s birth date in an international format, with the day before the month.
Daniels disclosed to WND the name of the database she searched and produced a computer screen copy of the page that listed 1890 as a date associated with the 042 Social Security number.
Daniels said she can’t be sure if the 1890 figure has any significance. But she said it appears the number Obama is using was previously issued by the Social Security Administration.
After an extensive check of the proprietary databases she uses as a licensed private investigator, Daniels determined that the first occurrence of Obama’s association with the number was in 1986 in Chicago.
Daniels assumes, but cannot prove, that Obama took on a previously issued Social Security number that had gone dormant due to the death of the original holder.
Daniels has been a licensed private investigator in Ohio since 1995. Sampson formed his private investigations firm, CSI Consulting and Investigations, in 2008. He previously worked as a deportations law enforcement officer with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
The Daniels and Sampson affidavits were originally recorded by attorney Orly Taitz in an eligibility case against Obama last year.
Yet another anomaly. My guess is his original SS# would have given too much away…

A true copy of my birth certificate cost twenty dollars, I have no reason to think that one for Hawaii is much higher, yet Obowma has spent how much on legal fees to prevent having to do so. Why?

Obama’s mother and Bill Ayers parents knew each other before he went to Columbia, where he is purported to have met Bill. The Ayers supposedly helped him financially in his pursuit of higher education, which I’m guessing is why he transferred from Occidental to Columbia in 1981.

Given the fact that Obama was a minor and living with his grandmother in the late 1970s while his mother was working in Indonesia, the process of issuing the Social Security number would be rather unusual anyhow.

With the future President’s mother in Indonesia and her habit of maintaining contact with her ex husbands, it seems likely that she may have had him handle the issue of getting their son a Social Security number since he was still “state-side.” The application then would have had a return address in Connecticut.

Why would Obama have needed a new Social Security number when he HAD to have one to have worked at Baskin Robbins a year or two before the Connecticut number surfaced? Also, with Obama being in Hawaii at that time with his grandmother why wouldn’t she take care of it? She volunteered at a Public records office where it certainly would have been easier to do with him right there. Obama never lived it CT.

No..not solved…. Obama Sr. as far as I know attended Harvard after leaving HI. I found no record of him attending school in CT – not even being there. Most likely the folks at Snopes mistook him for a Yale alumni. Yale is in CT.
Why would Stanley Soetoro trust such a task to someone who had let her and her son down in every other way? It wouldn’t make sense. I applied for my own SS# when I was fifteen (I’m 18 months older than Obama) – it wasn’t very difficult and didn’t require anything from my parents accept a birth registration form I used in place of a full BC (in CA, a Registration of Live Birth’ is pretty much the same thing as the COLB that has been bandied about from HI for Obama, it’s not an actual BC but it shows that you have one and from where).
If you can find some actual documentation that Obama Sr was in CT in the mid to late 70s I’d be glad to read it. Snopes saying so without reference along with getting the University he attended wrong, is hardly a ‘case solved.’

Here are some SS facts – I got my SS number when I was 16 in 63 without any help from my mother or showing any documents – I filled out the form, they sent me the card and I lost the card within a couple weeks – My oldest daughter has a number that ends in 00 because I picked it when she was 2 years old in 72 – I was working on the phones at a Miami SS office and mentioned I lost my card just after I got it – The man in charge of the office said no problem, what is your name and number and proceeded to issue me a copy without seeing any ID and told me I could get one for my kids and checked what numbers he had that could be issued and told me to pick one – I personally picked her number from several stacks – Later when my ex went on SS my youngest daughter was still a miner and was to get a check also and SS wanted to know my name and SS number which was required before they could send it to my address – this was around 94 – they came back and told me my number belonged to someone else with a different last name – It turned out when I was 18 in 65 and in the navy, my ex-stepfather had the last name on my SS changed to his last name so he could claim me on his tax’s (guessing this was the reason, he was a real winner) – yes this was very illegal but he was able to do it without my knowledge and if it wasn’t for those checks I would never have known until I tried to collect – It was easy to do a name change back to mine, just like a woman does when she gets married, but this was the first time I had to show my Birth Certificate, SS and DL – Bottom line – in the 70’s you could get a copy of someone else’s SS with your name on it with no ID required, or a new SS with no ID required – Pam knows this to be true -

According to the Social Security Administration, a number issued prior to 1972 was based on the state of residence. One issued after 1973 was based on zip code of the applicant. He would have needed a number for his employment at Baskin Robbins in the mid-1970s. He would have also needed one to attend college at Occidental in 1979. If he received his social in the 60s or 70s, it should be a Hawaiian number (577-579). An 042 number is assigned to Connecticut.
Further, he lived exclusively in Hawaii from 1961-1967 and 1971-1979. He lived in Indonesia from 1967-1971. He attended college at Occidental in LA from 1979-1981; Columbia University (New York City) from 1981-1983. He worked in New York from 1983-1984 and in Chicago as a “community organizer” from 1984-1988. He then went to Harvard Law School in 1988 and graduated in 1991. He then returned to Chicago. So you idiots are telling me that sometime during the 1980s, he traipsed on up to Connecticut and got a Social Security Number?
Face the facts, the guy is an absolute fraud. Let’s see his tax returns from 1975-1979 and see what number is on there.

If Obama was an American citizen then he would not be spending almost 2 million dollars to hide everything that would indicate that he is NOT an American citizen. I was just wondering if anyone realized that when Obama had his first job he was 13, so he probably was paid under the table, seeing as how you have to be 16 to work. Doesn’t this mean he didn’t have to have a ss number at that time? Also his dad lived in connecticut for several years and ss numbers were given out by the return address on the request envelope, not what state you lived in. Your ssn is given to you based on the address of your request for the ssn, not where you were born (meaning that if you were born in hawaii and your father lives in connecticut and requests a ssn for you in that state, you will have a ssn with the first 3 numbers for connecticut) those are facts and I have stated them, you can pull whatever conclusions you want, but those are indeed facts unlike pams statement that I quoted above.

Where I’m at if someone supports obama they mostly don’t pray, most liberals I know aren’t really religious. I did a simple internet search and I found a lot of information on the stock market crash of 1999, so it doesn’t seem to be erased from history. The few moments I spent looking at it, it looks like it was the internet bubble popping, just like our housing bubble recently. Also Obama is a united states president, meaning he has at the very most 8 years in office. If people are unhappy with him only 4, and if it is proven before then that he isn’t a citizen, then less. You should be more worried about yourself since you are getting older and can’t work forever, then your grandson who does not yet have to try and find a job and most likely won’t remember who the president was when he was born. I also know people who lost a ton of retirement money after clinton and before obama. It has happened quite a lot not just during clinton and obama’s times in office. If you believe obama is not from this country, then by all means try and get the truth its what we do in the U.S. but fighting too much amongst ourselves (as american’s) is not doing anything to help our country. I was brought up being told that this is the greatest country for many reasons, and one is that we (the majority) choose who represents us, and if we don’t like it he’s gone in 4 years. If you don’t mind my asking, where do you work? If you’re afraid you’ll be fired because of supporting obama just go above those peoples heads, if that doesn’t work go to news stations.
