Dale Peterson, Renaissance Man

Will Farmer, Businessman, Cop, Marine replace Butcher, Baker, Candlestick Maker?

Was compelled to post this; saw it at Primordial Slack first but it’s gone viral… On the off chance someone else might get a chance to ‘meet’ Dale Peterson, complete with horse and Winchester rifle, here ’tis.

Agriculture Commissioner of Alabama to the White House? It could happen! Before I get ahead of myself, here’s the link to Dale’s website should you be so moved. Read through his bio; impressive guy.

ALRIGHT! We are making some progress here! This is the kind of man I KNOW is out there to run for office. Folks it starts from this level. No one ever seems to pay attention to this level of elected office – but these are the guys who carry out the agenda of the highest levels so YES THEY DO count :D
Can we clone him?!?! Needs us some more, yes we do :pirate: :flag: :pirate: :flag:
tick tock – we’re coming – I’m hoping for one great big party come November!

I’m giddy that I get to vote for this man. Oh, and I don’t know if you’ve seen this one… Maybe he’s not of the testosterone-laden ‘caliber’ (pardon the pun) of Mr. Peterson, and he’s not brand-new to the public sector (albeit only two years), but he does seems like a damn-decent man who will no-doubt garner some “chuckle votes” for his name:

AND ONE MORE THING… Looking for concise information on your own state and national representative candidates? Mrs. Who found this site for me the other night:

I have a political crush on him. Romantically, I like a fella who can lie to me with a straight face, as in ‘honey, your butt does not look big in those jeans’.

It’s a nice political ad… Color me jaded but the proof will be in the pudding…

And I’d be a bit happier if he didn’t have his booger hook on the trigger of that level gun… That’s a violation of Colonel Cooper’s rule #3 and isn’t something you want to make a habit of…

Words are only words, I agree.

There’s reaction to the finger on the trigger over at Joan’s. I was taught not to do it, but apparently it’s okay for that weapon in that state.

Don’t get me wrong… I like the guy so far… We need more folks like him…

And you were taught right Ms. Pam about gun safety… The thing about Colonel Cooper’s rules is that you have to break two of them before something really bad happens so what you try to do is not break any of them… If you make a habit of never placing your finger on the trigger until you’re ready to shoot then you won’t have it in the wrong place when you don’t notice the hammer is back… Same principal with unloaded guns… That’s why rule #1 is “all guns are always loaded”…

PS… Did you know Gov. Perry was once the Texas Ag Commish?…

Learned that rule, too. My instructors – a sheriff’s deputy and a state trooper – were pretty insistent on that one. ;)

I didn’t know that about Governor Perry! Very cool…!
