I’m praying for a prosperous and healthy 2010 for all of us, myself included! Though making resolutions has never been a regular pastime, I hereby make a couple of dandies:
1) Get over this bastard sinus infection
2) Do everything in my power -little though I it may be- to defame, deflower, defrock and otherwise help kick the ruling party to the curb where they belong.
Via The Reaganite Republican, who always has the very best toons:

Time’s up!

So, here I sit in my little study, even before I quit drinking I never went out on Amateur Night except when working.
That does not, however, prevent me from wishing you and yours a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.

We have two jobs in the coming year, a fight on two fronts.
The first front is to defeat every Democrat we can, period. The second front, perhaps even more important is to push for the most conservative Republican we can find in every Primary. In some Primaries, that will be easy. In other Primaries the most conservative won’t be very conservative at all.
We must also work at the Precinct, County and State level, to prevent anymore debacles like NY23 where the wonderful Republican candidate, that Scuzzy, whats-her-name woman, when she lost to the conservative fella, endorsed the Democrat.
We must also work hard to end the open Primaries like Michigan had, where, since the Donk side was already sewn up, the Donks flocked to our Primary, giving McCain heavy momentum that carried him to the nomination. We must, absolutely must, never allow the media and the Donks (but I repeat myself) to choose our candidate again.
We must also, somehow, let those Washington Republicans know that we are tired of hoping they’ll join the fight.
Busy year.

Happy New Year, Pam and all…
Hmmm?
Sorry, Pam. I don’t believe it’s possible to deflower DC whores. We can, however, inoculate Washington with some authentic American Conservatism® to rid the festering lot, or at least keep them from spreading their syphilitic HopeyChange® any further.
We need to start brewing that vaccine NOW, as Peter said, by making sure to vote in the primaries to advance true conservative candidates that reflect our values and who will vow to NEVER vote against their constituency because they “feel it’s what is best”.

In my defense, I was sick and more than a little drugged. I do know what ‘deflower’ means, really. Just sounded good to my warped mind…
Nicely put.
