and yes :flag: :flag: salute to the Sgt.

I’m thinking he would have welcomed reinforcements.

  2. Bitterroot Says:

He looks so inconsequential – no more than a bystander… True to form, he is merely “Present” as Commander in Chief. And our troops and the World at large know it.

  3. pam Says:

In truth, I find his photo op repulsive. He took time out from his almost daily fund raising schedule to stage this for a reason.

President Bush never used our troops for photo ops. Never. But then, he’s a grown up. And respects the military.

When will ubama make up his mind about new troops for Afghanistan?

He’ll make that decision after the more important things, those off year elections Nov. third. He has no time for unimportant things like the lives of American Soldiers, or any Americans killed by those waterhead Muslim assholes those soldiers are trying to stop, there are elections! Ballot boxes must be stuffed!

  5. Lee Ann Says:

You know, we started this deal with an understanding. A negotiations of terms and agreements for this hostile takeover.

Blind allegiance would not be given and heated words would be withheld to allow time for cooler heads to prevail. Respect would be earned, not given because of title and position.

We made it clear that while we weren’t pleased, out of respect to the office that was being held, we would look for ways to “reach across the aisle” and prayed that our concerns and fears were unfounded.

Alas my children, the alarm clock has been ringing for some time now and we awake not to the “dream” that was once held aloft as a beacon to achieve to set your sights upon, but to the shitstorm that reigns over us and upon us on a daily almost hourly basis. The only thing missing are the Brown Shirts, but I think B.O. has successfully scuttled them under the guise of “Czar” with impunity.

The only way that this will change and we’ll find our ships set back upon the right course is to vote out every Congressman and Senator, state, local and national levels and clean house to start afresh. Those who have sat so long in the bathwater have not realized how dirty they became during their wait.

I am saddened for what my country and world have become and for the loss of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness that has been taken away from me and more importantly my children.

I will not go quietly into that good night. I will not drink their Kool-Aid and I will rail against the darkness that they seek to put over us. And Sgt. Dale Griffin of Terre Haute, Indiana will not have died in vain for a country that doesn’t cherish the liberties and the freedom that he gave his life to protect.

You know, when he won the election we -the man and I- reconciled with the fact. How much mischief could he do… or even want to do? After all, if you’re running for President, doesn’t it follow that you love your country?

Turns out he doesn’t. Turns out he thumbs his nose at everything we as a country have held dear for over 200 years.

Well, fuck that. The alarm bell has indeed chimed…

No, no… he's dithering because he wants his health care bullshit passed. If he sends troops to Afghanistan, the far lefties will be pissed and not support his "reform"… if he doesn't send them, the so-called moderate demos will be pissed and not support his "reform".

ALL HE CARES ABOUT IS THE EXPANSION OF GOVERNMENT.

In the spirit of "fairness", he will destroy the successful, because that is the only way to "level the playing field."

  7. jana Says:

By the way, Obama and his crew make me sick… I’ve never felt more revulsion towards another human being in my life…

I thought Clinton was a disgusting piece of crap, but at least he didn’t seem intent on destroying the country and our way of life. Obama makes him look like a saint in comparison.

  8. patti Says:

I detested Clinton, but I’d welcome him over this shit.

  9. mike Says:

first of all – as commander in chief he needs to learn the rules / proper protocol – his salute is improper, he is out of uniform – in civilian cloths you put your hand over your heart – something he has proven he was incapable of prior to his nomination by the DNC – a salute is improper (but will be honored by a VET only or someone you respect) -you must be in complete uniform to salute

    :flag: :texas:

  10. Peter Says:

Sorry Mike, but there is no evidence that Obama even has a heart.

  11. mike Says:

Peter – thank you I needed that laugh – I stand corrected, his only protocol is to stand at attention only – (Bush can salute)
