Her Breeness

Breagha

One of the things I don’t like about the new[er] camera is the color. Whatever I focus on sometimes comes out fine… or even a little too saturated, as is the case here… but everything else winds up black or close to it. This is on auto, sooc.

I can’t believe she’ll be 3 in less than a month! Where has the time gone?

I wish we’d known each other back then… the puppy antics we went through with Bree were like nothing I’ve ever experienced with any other dog. Good grief!

Oh my goodness, how did that go by so quickly? Sweet puppy girl needs puppy treats. Puppy treats, lurvings and scritches for all the peeps, from the Boo Hahn and Darla

The camera…the issue isn’t the camera itself. It’s the range of light you’re dealing with. The sensor can only process so much. This is true of even the most expensive cameras out there! It’s not the easiest concept to explain beyond saying there’s just too great a difference between the darks and the lights. As well, when you have that much range, it’s hard for the camera (and our eyes) to balance color properly. Which is the correct value? Which is the value you want? Extreme ranges don’t allow for an easy answer.

    Does that make sense?

As for Miss Bree — Three? Woo hoo! :woot:

I understand what you mean… did you see the auto exposure comparison test that Leanne did with her old and new camera? There was quite a difference…

      …and now I want a Nikon D90!

      [Fat chance, but still.] :D
