Hunting…

…usually leads to those sticky things attaching themselves to her hair… Usually I can pull them out, but these are so badly entangled that I’m contemplating scissors. But I really don’t want to do that…

They’re still there. I’ve pulled so many off her body she’s sick of the sight of me… I would save the chore for Dad, but we’re working on his being the ‘good guy’.

Maybe wetting down the hair in that area might lossen them up a bit?
Cause you can’t cut her little tuff of sticking up hair, which really really needs a bow or barrette.

I just can’t. You don’t know how much I love the sticking up hair atop her noggin. It’s just precious.
I’ll try water… however the crap comes out, it ain’t gonna be pretty.

What on earth sort of plant is it? Is it a new one? Or is it expendable. Cuz I’m all for ripping out that which gets entangled in a pup’s fur.

Oh dear…

It’s a weed. I’ve been putting down weed n’ feed and pulling the suckers, but they get ahead of me.
I had to CUT IT OUT. Poor Daisy.

Next time put some baby oil on and around it. Then try combing it out. It might work, then again, it might not. But, either way, it’s worth a try and there’s always uses for baby oil.

I’ll try it, thanks.

Ugh. I remember those nasty things. I use to get them in my shoe laces, pants, dog… what a nightmare. And a long hair dog… you are in trouble. Though the baby oil sounds reasonable. Let me know if it works.

Next time. I had to cut it out this time. Poor girl; I’m no beautician.
Baby oil is just perfumed mineral oil, right?

Yep. Even if it doesn’t work the dog will smell good.
