I worked this bed yesterday and the one across the walk from it, pulling weeds and resetting some stones. This particular area stays cool and no weeds grow back here. Unless people come as far as the front porch they never see this side… What a shame; I like it, plastic tube and all.
The rocks are part of an old fountain that the man and I broke up with a sledgehammer. I left this much because when the chameleons climb atop the ledge, rise to their toes and do the dance of superiority… it seems very primordial. And cute. Mustn’t discount cute.

That black hose is missing a hose clamp, matching purse, and shoes!

I can still picture you sitting back there, Tammi… you looked pretty darned relaxed.
It’s enjoying an overhaul with the rest of the place. All that peeling paint is gone, replaced with white. New plants abound… and… I’m going to be pulling up some of the pavers in strategic places for small trees to provide shade.
Throw in some chair cushions and we’ll be ready to go!

Okay, now I know I’m missing chameleons and that’s just too much! I’m definitely moving in
