Breagha, Daisy

Bree always gets there first… but the good news is, Daisy has defrosted enough to take food from the man’s hand!

That’s a start. I’ll have to get pics of my dogs removing treats from my lips. It was an adventure teaching CAP that trick while still keeping my nose and chin attached.

Bree can take stuff -very gently- from between my lips. Don’t know that I trained her to do it so much as she was just always there and ready to do it and one day it happened.

But training a dog to do it? No, thanks! ;)

Jeeez. Just tried it and was rat-packed! I was Frenched by a Westie and had my nose bitten off by a Shit-zu!!! Did I mention the nasty taste of those gourmet cat-shit-smelling Beggin’ Strips?! At least this post …though physically harmful to me…did no psychological damage like your flower photos usually do…for that I thank you, Pam. :nana:

Ohhh… that statement is tantamount to forcing me to post another one…! :D

And yeah, dog treats taste like something that fell off a dead deer carcass after a couple of weeks… LOL!

Woo Hoo Daisy! Big, big step!

The puppers were taking Nilla wafer pieces from my lips this weekend and I am happy to report that I still have two (lips and dogs).

    • pam Says:

See? Nilla wafers!! That’s the kind of food to use! Sounds good right now, as a matter of fact… for me, not the dogs. ;)

    I DARE you!!!

  5. Quality Weenie Says:

We don’t give any dog treats anymore, either people food (veggies, fruits, nilla waffers, etc) or I make the treats myself with dog treat recipes and people food.

Spoiled doggies! And happy owners. Great combo.
